Download Sin City Volume 7: Hell and Back PDF eBookSin City Volume 7: Hell and Back is the biggest and wildest volume in the series. With this graphic novel, Frank Miller brilliantly ended his signature series Sin City. Like most of the other volumes, it was originally published as serials by Dark Horse Comics between July 1999 and April 2000. It was finally collected as a single paperback edition in 2000, which made it the seventh volume in the graphic novel series.
The story in Sin City Volume 7: Hell and Back introduces another hero-type character named Wallace as the main protagonist. He is an ex Navy SEAL with a Medal of Honor who now makes his living as an artist and a cook. He is an upright citizen, a common middle class, who lives a fairly decent and peaceful life amid the chaos and crime of Basin City. He saves the life of a suicidal woman, Esther, who turns out liking his art. When both of them go out to have a couple of drinks, they were ambushed by two unknown men, who suddenly drug Wallace and kidnap Esther. Wallace decides to search for Esther. He steps out of his fairly peaceful life and charges into a thorny and wicked conspiracy.
Book Description (as written at darkhorse.com):
It's one of those clear, cool nights that drops in the middle of summer like a gift from on high. If it weren't for the rent, Wallace wouldn't have a care in the world. Then he sees Esther, about to throw it all away--and throw herself off a cliff. Wallace jumps in after her, saves her life, and falls in love, but before he can find out what she was running from, she's gone again, kidnapped. But Wallace isn't the kind to lose his head. He's calm. Like a monk. Like an executioner. And he'll find them.
